Umbrage is a high-end raiding guild which has been around since the day of release. For 4 years we have offered a stable and successful raiding platform for our members and intend to do so for many years to come. The guild is kept small to ensure that everyone gets lots of opportunities for raid slots and means that there is little turnover of people. We are interested in long-term recruits - people who want to play to beat encounters (not just for shiny stuff) and understand that raiding occasionally means wiping! The vast majority of people in guild are in their twenties and thirties with jobs, partners, kids (urgh) and as such we generally require members to be 18 or over. We run a low drama-high performance guild and have little interest in having drama queens in our ranks. Many of the guild have been playing together since Azuregos and Kazzak first raised their ugly heads, our past exploits (together with mocking guild updates) can be found on this website.

We look for trials (and members) to maintain a minimum of 60% attendance although 80%+ is preferable, most players operate at 90%+. Our current raid times are 1950 (cet) through to 2330 (cet) Monday to Thurs with an extended raid on Sunday (1900-2330). We will occasionally overrun the end if there is a boss to be killed but do not go over 0000 (cet). On Friday and Saturday there are unofficial 10 man runs with a smattering of heroics/alt play thrown in.

Applications from exceptional players are welcome in all classes

We welcome group applications as well as individual ones and while other classes are ‘full’ we always carefully consider applicants and are prepared to make exceptions for the right person.

We expect you to have correctly gemmed, enchanted and set-up gear, as well as a working knowledge of the fights, your class and relevant raid experience. In return we offer a close-knit guild which strives for progress while maintaining a good level of humour (if the updates didn’t give that away!).
