Hey guys! It’s your favorite U-Team presenting spoils of war on teh internet again! In the last two months we have killed C’Thun, Ouro the Sandworm, Noth the Plaguebringer, Instructor Razuvious and Anub’Rekhan. I have to apologize for our lack of frontpage updates, but I ensure you that random people whispering to me that "I pay 10 gold for frontpage update" works wonders. Thanks for the support!
Jokes aside, Umbrage is having good time while we are eagarly waiting for The Burning Crusade like rest of the playerbase. Our core is still enjoying the current content and we are progressing within Naxx nicely - discovering and having fun with Naxx before it gets taken from us at the expansion launch.
Umbrage Movie Studios (UMS) will be releasing new content - so watch this space for future links!
C’Thun

C’Thun as a fight is quite original design. We have now killed C’Thun with different raid buildups having successfull kills with quite funny numbers such as only having 3 warrios in raid or with very heavy melee vs ranged balance in a fight that should favor ranged. That pretty much proves, atleast to me that C’Thun is one of the best designed fights in AQ40 and in top 3 currently in World of Warcraft. There intensity of the fight and design that heavily relyes personal responsibility dosn’t allow any room for error or having players who think their asses will be covered by others. One can’t forget the countless amounts of anime-schoolgirl-tentacle-porn jokes this boss has generated - easy fun.
Ouro the Sandworm

People at blizzard are genius. Ouro is a very good fight with nice intensity and absolutely devastating enrage at the end. We had to modify our strategy several times to get this done right, but it was very sweet victory at the end. I think Ouro, like C’Thun is the pinnacle of AQ40, it has everything in it that makes AQ40 a real experience. Fast Movement - Damage - Adaptation.
Anub’Rekhan

Quite simple fight to be honest, dosn’t require anything special - I’d say this fight is quite ease apporach for a very nice wing. Pretty much of a movement test for your tank and his healers, other than that this design isn’t overall that impressive. Nice fight never the less.
Instructor Razuvious

Resisted MC on the pull? Oh well, let’s wipe up and go again. Nice design, but once you get Instructor tactic down, this fight becomes a nice&clean break from conventional fighting, giving a nice challenge to class that normally has to keep others alive. Bit one directional, but still, good.
Noth the Plaguebringer

I had to save this one for the last. What a fight! Awesome, just brilliant triangle design with multiple phases inside the fight and tactically something that actually changes how some classes are played DPS wise. Only "meh" part of Noth design is the decurse ideology in it that is basicly an example of mods designing content. First there was decursive, then there was a fight made for decursive and that is Noth. Luckily, this won’t bother us in future at TBC when modules get some sort of restrictions in their abilities. Other than that, Noth is just a blast.

Umbrage is in ur instance, killing ur mobs!!!1
