Blackwing Lair cleared in 3 hours 30 minutes - AQ Sceptre quest done in 5 days.

Hey kids! We are back! After hearing enough taunting by people who have no clue what so ever what it means to do Sceptre of Shifting Sands and most importantly, being very bored without any content to do as a guild - we decided to shake the foundations of Blizzard quest planning. War effort at 98%, 5 days before AQ gates open and ability to finish sceptre quest ends.
Challenge was in 5 days to:

Farm 42.000 Carapaces from Silithius, farm 3 rare shards from lvl 61 elite dragons at the mystical portals, gather 10 elementium ore, diamond, arcanite bars and sapphires, various amounts of questpieces all over the world, kill Dragon Erakinus chain event in Moonglade, get a rare drop from Molten Core trash, kill Ragnaros, kill the Twilight Corrupter in Twilight Grove, and finally clear Blackwing Lair in under 5 hours and finish off Sceptre by wasting big fat shark.

With only 5 days time to finish off the longest and hardest quest Blizzard has ever made the race was on, failing to finish the quest in the remaining 5 days would waste all the effort put in so far. Most guilds would turn back at this point. Umbrage is not one of those guilds.

Naturally, the guild was extremely pleased after this achivement we managed to pull off. Thus, Sil created one of the best written lores available in World of Warcraft community. We have two awesome pieces to present to you:

Naturally the guild was extremely pleased when we finnished our run on Blackwing Lair and the quest loot we got on the route was it also, pretty damn sweet.

Also, we had pleasure of killing the Blizzards tribute to Steven Spielberg. Anyone afraid of jaws?

This quest is truly a guild effort. The amount of effort put in over the last week has been phenomenal and every member of the guild can feel justifiably proud. I would also like the thank Mythical Honour for flying to our aid on the Twilight Corrupter and Eranikus, both were awesome encounters when played without lag, we were honoured to share them with you. Special thanks to Yu who, as ever, accepted his ganking with good grace, as well as to Arakasi, Root, Arynn and Vansire. Many thanks also to Raspi, Holte and Tiramus who were insane enough to still be awake at 4.15 and happy to help. Thanks also to Bodoka and any others who i have forgotten who helped us to farm the Fragments from the dragon trash. Most of all my thanks to the guild though who pulled together superbly, farmed with purpose and cleared BWL in such an impressive time.
