Hey kids! It’s that time of the month again where we crawl out of mommys basement to show our new toys! But unlike in "real life" you can’t steal our toys in world of Azeroth. Sucks to be you, rocks to be us. hihihi, kekekek, ^^.

Yesterday after broodlord, we picked a good patch of Goblins in BWL to get our final piece of Elementium Ore. Excited as 4 month old puppies we set the forging of Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker for wednesday 1900cet. After a night with little to no sleep failure glooming in back of our minds, we set onward to Silithius.

Gathering in Silithius. We had 46 online, everyone participated on the fight. The fight itself was not restricted, like some raid encounters are.

Haarrrrr! It’s the purple 35 years old virgin pirates again coming to you, live from their hidden deep underground batcaves located under their mommies houses! Phear us, we have made progress!
Ebonrock, or should I say Eboncock, is pretty much the fight that looked good on paper when designed, but proved out to be yet another "hey, lets abuse this drake by calling him bad names and hopefully he will be pissed!". Three taunt resists from offtanks and mocking blows on cooldown can create one hella healing I say. Deal with Ebonroc is that each time he hits the MT who has his debuff shadow of ebonroc you get screwed by 25.000 point heal. Oh, what happens if all oftanks get taunt resist then? This happens:

Congratulations to us for healing Ebonroc for almost 5 million hitpoints, considering that he starts with 1 million. On the kill fight started very badly with several chain resists on row, increasing his hp to ~3.5 million. So we had to grind it down after tanking was back on its feet. Does this count that we killed him over 4 times? Atleast we got loot just for one. Blizzard is fucking with us again I say.

It was very bleasing to see all of our rogue-hunter damage almost within the same one percent in total dmg delt, meaning we have one hell of balanced and skilled dps crew considering that Ebonroc’s agro is fucked up due wing buffets. Damage delt from the same fight:

Next on the list was Flamegor, who isn’t really intresting at all. First pull, 90%, looked what abilities he had, how hard he hit and so forth, adjust strategy. Second pull, 32%, wiped due two healers going LD. Then we waited for about two hours while our guild spent joyfull time going LD and crashing. We didn’t even manage to pull him while 2-3 guys were constantly in LD cycles. When everyone got their connections back on their feet, we finally managed to pull and he lay dead before us. Gimp mobs are gimp mobs. (well, he still pushes out triple hits on 1 second delay for about 1.5k-1.8k crushing + slows healing down with AE, but gimp in BWL terms. Nice 8k peaks in one second intervall while he is in freaking out phase.)

Just purely savage boss this one. First pulls went in total chaos and mayhem when we tried to figure out Chromaggus 6 different broodpowers and what of his 8 AE’s are in use this time. Our Chromaggus was Frost Burn and Ignite Flesh. After several adjustments, massive planning and tactical conference, this happened:

69% One can’t complain about that! We are getting on right track here. Final adjustment where made, we were pressing very late compared to our average normal schedule and still decided to do the final try with 38 players in raid. We pulled and silence fell over our TS. 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes and we start to reach 30%, 25%, 20% –> executes start to fly. Chromaggus gains Frenzy! Hunter retaliate -> holy shit 5 out 8 healers are stunned at the same time! Deck of cards start to rumble!

We could not agree more with Jaze’s comment in guildchat as healing team stunned out of the fight and low in mana, helplessly watch how our Maintank drops down on it knees at 16%. In the only time critical moment we had, our hunter with maxed out to-hit gear misses, is just what we call Umbrage-luck. =) But what a hell of an fight! Nefarians little pet puppy will be buried, tagged and bagged next time we visit BWL after repop.

UNFAIR! Just not right!
I write in disgust to you in this day of outrage. Again has Blizzard fucked up I tell ya. With all the money the you dudes get from our pockets, I demand a blue reply about this screenshot! I mean, wtf, what’s the use for us warriors anymore? My class is outdated, obsolent at best. Waju and Penguin out of two people in Arathor go and duo Raz Frostwhisper while drunk! Outrage, I say, Outrage.

On happier things, Firemaw felt the wrath of Umbrage. Ofcourse before that our pet demon of BWL, Broodlord Slashlayer died for second time on our first try today. Another fight that required alot of tweaking and discussion regarding pretty much every topic that makes raiding: a) Challenge b) Teamwork Effort c) Fun. Out of all the bad things told in forums regarding this fight, we actually found it pretty intresting.

Sometimes, one picture can speak more than a thousand words. But in this case it does not do justice for the practice, precision, co-ordination and teamwork we have done to achieve it.

He is dead, only the carcass remains.

My fingers are not enough to count how many times we got him to 40%, 25% to 18% and to 10% before every minor detail was locked so thight you could not even put a needle between them. We got so good in clearing the Broodlord trash that any day given, even with 3 mages and 2 warlocks we can push up to prep-spot in 15 minutes flat. That’s how much we practiced.

Now it’s done. Whole fucking guild exploded when he died, 100% to 0%, flawless. It was like a school example how Broodlord is killed without usign a single Flasks of Titans, location exploits or logouts on the Horde side. I have never had my pulse raving at 180, adrenaline still high as hell and hands covered with sweat 30 minutes after the kill.

Our horrible luck with weapons finaly came to an end tonight. Not a single weapon has dropped for us in last 2 months of raiding, not in BWL nor in MC. Today, at Broodlord, gods of the server random gave us a break. Congratulations Socra for Maladath, Runed Blade of the Black Flight.

What next, you ask? Now we are going to get drunk and then kill some Drakes in BWL.
